Description

The Marketing Manager is responsible for planning and implementing the best ways to promote and sell CBI products. Developing multi-channel marketing campaigns with a strong story and consistent brand voice. You will work closely with the Purchasing Department and Sales Manager to gain the product knowledge necessary to carry out effective marketing strategies.

The Marketing Manager will manage and create visual concepts and item photography that inspire, inform, and captivate key customer audiences. This position will manage and develop layout, production design and photography for a variety of print collateral, advertisements, digital, video, and other creative communication channels. Incorporate recommended changes and review designs for errors before final design and production. Work within and be innovative around an established style guide to maintain the integrity of the CBI brand.

Duties

• Clearly articulate creative concepts, efficiently manage the creation of concept, complete error review and deployment of deliverable for company social media platforms, website, media channels, digital assets and print collateral.
• Manage photographer and photography studio for best case item and item use photos based on direction from senior management
• Advise on design strategies and potential new marketing platforms and help determine messages to best engage existing and new customers
• Ability to manage staff scheduling and deadlines to align with company marketing campaigns and initiative needs
• Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising, and promotional campaigns and activities.
• Creation, publication, and implementation of all marketing material in line with marketing and sales plans. To include but not limited to, social media, sales flyers, show books, catalogs, marketing e-mails, website(s), etc.
• Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products.
• Manages Marketing team and Photographer, sets team and individual goals, provides training and development, holds accountability and performance discussions.
• Responsible for promoting the company warehouse sale.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, customer preferences, and emerging technologies to continuously innovate marketing strategies.
• Holds weekly department meeting and attends monthly Manager Meetings.
• Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products.
• Manage the productivity of the marketing team to ensure plans and projects are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Monitor, review, and report on effectiveness of marketing activity and results.
• Monitor industry best practices to brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.
• Responsible for editing, maintaining, and developing the visual content, style, and appearance of the web-site.
• Will stay current in marketing trends and news like Google updates and changes in algorithms, Facebook Insights, etc.
• Work closely with Sales Manager and collaborate with Marketing Team.
• Other duties to be assigned.

Qualifications

• Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels.
• Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
• Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.
• Ability to manage, coach, discipline, and guide a marketing team.
• Exceptional oral and written skills.
• Ability to create eye catching, appealing, and effective promotions.
• Photography experience a plus. Must be able to coach and provide feedback on the quality of product images.
• Web experience. Ability to edit and maintain visual content of the website.
• Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges.
• Must be able to follow up on projects and meet all deadlines.
• 5 years management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Salary 70k-85k

Working Conditions

Office environment, occasional warehouse and showroom environment.
Travel by airplane.

Physical Requirements

Should be capable of lifting and moving tables, props, display structures.
