Bilingual Account Representatives are to function as the lead contact person responsible for providing excellent customer support associated with placing orders, managing and responding to customer’s requests, monitoring shipments and keeping customers informed. This role generates sales by building new client relationships or maintaining existing ones. The Account Representative will work with customers as needed at every stage. In addition, the Account Representative must be a “team player” who is required to work in conjunction with other departments in order to meet the needs of the customer. In doing so, the Account Representative should understand those department’s functions as they affect the customers.
1. Ensure customer inquiries and needs are addressed efficiently and in a timely manner.
2. Support outside salesperson by assisting in sales, customer service, office maintenance on all accounts, procedures surrounding company policies and ensure product accurately ships.
3. Work with other departments as needed to resolve customer inquiries.
4. Employ new policies and procedures.
5. Handle additional work outside of the Account/Customer Service Department as needed such as ship tracking, product substitutions and factory cancelations.
6. Demonstrate knowledge of all new and current products
7. Process orders and subsequent transactions pertaining to the customer ‘s account.
8. Assist with growing/selling new customers.
9. Monitor shipments to ensure the customer is receiving what they ordered in a timely manner.
10. Share knowledge and experience with co-workers and management.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax machines, and more. Ability to stand long hours during trade shows.

While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required communicate with staff. This role is largely computer based. An employee must be able to spend most of the workday looking at a computer screen and utilizing the computer to complete job related tasks. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing maybe required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and box old/unnecessary files.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time exempt position. Days and hours of the week are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm CST. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel twice a year, June and January, an employee may be required to travel to Dallas for the CBI show.
